I have been to university, I have travelled the world, I
have met the man of my dreams and now I’ve moved 300 miles away from him. What does that mean? It means I now spend my weekends sat on broken
down, delayed, double-booked or sweaty trains (quite often all of the above)
and I can confirm my current status is “Nomad”.
I live between the cities of bridges, Newcastle and London, and spend my
time dreaming up where in the world I would next like to visit. BUT there are two things that remain constant
in my life. The first, my scrumptious fiancé. The second, my love of mouth watering food
and delicious tipples.
Whilst some like to gym, some like to read, some are film
fanatics or acrobats, my favourite pastime is food: exploring it, cooking it,
eating it, watching shows about it and my utmost favourite, washing it down
with a tasty drink or two. I am in my
mid-twenties and have a lot to learn but what I don’t already know from
Saturday Kitchen and Master Chef, I am ready to learn.
Now, I may not be Julia Child or Julie Powell even but follow my blog on cooking
for friends and eating out around the world and hopefully you can learn
something with me. I intend to post everytime I cook a meal worthy of note (not my flash pan noodles for one made with a rumbling stomach after a long day at work) or eat out. Having already explored cuisines and wines in many interesting places in the world, in place of noodle dinners and microwave meals I will throw in some interesting blogs and pictures of places I've been and recipes I have discovered.
